Call about a possibly aggressive dog

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

MarleyPAWS was called about a dog that had shown up and had been staying at a family’s home in Naoussa. They reported that the dog stole all their things around the house and that he had bitten the Grandmother… They had no idea of his age, breed, sex. When Barbara went to take a first look of this possibly dangerous dog she was surprised to find a 4-5-month old puppy. A very friendly giant – certainly not a monster.

More puppies in a Box

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

Pups Town HallOne week later 3 more puppies were left at the Vets office during lunch break, obviously from the same people and  without doubt from the same litter. The Vet was in such a rage about the irresponsibility of some dog owners and wanted the Town Hall to be informed and to be forced into taking action. He left the puppies in front of the town hall and had the Vice Mayor and others called to inform them about the puppies and insisted they take some action. PAWS had to interfere when 3 hours later the puppies were still in their box in front of the town hall. They were brought to Barbaras home for a reunion with their brothers.
Luckily, 2 of them were adopted the next day by a local family. We wish them good luck!
